Let me guess, you're tired. You've gone to your doctor and had at least one of these frustrating conversations.
One. Your labs actually look pretty good. You're not anemic and your TSH is "normal." As a result, your doctor sees nothing wrong and hands you an anti-depressant and insists that you're tired just because you're depressed. You know it's not depression. You're tired. You're not sad, you're not stressed. You're not grieving.
Two. It's pretty common to see the effect of that fatigue to come with some weight gain. Again, your doctor says you just need to exercise MORE and eat LESS. In other words, you're tired and gaining weight because he/she thinks you're lazy. The problem is that you're busting your arse off at the gym and there's no way you can eat less.
